You haven't seen me here for a long time, have you? I hope you missed me as much as I did. I was busy battling a few demons in my head and also working on a secret mission. You got it right! I have a boring life wherein I create problems in my head and then fight them so that they get out of my head. Confused? Don't be, it doesn't really matter. I am just blabbering because I did not know how to start this post. :D

Now that I have managed to type a whole paragraph, let me come to the point. Do you believe in angels? No, not the ones with the wings. You can have Red Bull for that! I mean angels who are kind-hearted and can make you smile and feel happy. You don't? Lucky me, I know a bunch of them! Yes, I am talking about the awesome Indiblogeshwaris!! :)

If you remember, I did a review on my blog in December last year as a part of the celebration we were having in the group. Since my original secret elf was busy with something, this very sweet other elf by the name Janaki who blogs at Memoirs of A Homemaker stepped in to make me happy, no, really happy and did a wonderful review for me. You can find it here. Thanks Janaki, you are very sweet. Like they say in Kannada, ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. <3

If the above wasn't a proof of some angelic love, here is another. Let me tell you a story.

You know what happened the other day? I was sitting on the bed with a grumpy face of mine, thinking what should I do for the rest of my time till Abhay gets back home. That is when I heard a loud bang on the door. Well, it never is a knock, you know. I opened the door to find, err, a handsome, not-so-young Fedex guy outside the door. He battled his eyelids and asked me if I was Pooja. Ok, you caught me, he did no such thing, but, it is good to fantasize noo, that too when the husband is in office. He handed over a package to me that had, for once, my name on it. Now, that was the first reason for my smile. Somebody sent me, "ME" a package!! Exciting na? I rubbed my eyes to clear out my grogginess and no, it still had my name on it. I, for a moment, forgot the handsome guy outside. Girls, you see. After wishing him pleasantries, I ran into my room to open up the package like an excited school girl, and wait for it, you know what was inside? A lot of treats..it had clips, buttons and a greeting card. So sweet noo? I had tears in my eyes when I read the lovely words that a certain anGel had written, and I can't tell you how positive I felt after it. I loved the gifts..they are so cute and so me.

You know who the angel is? Yes, there is a hint in the story, a very subtle hint. Yes? No? Ok, hold your breath, it was G...haan haan, VinitaG who blogs at BlogwatiG. Yes, you are right, the high priestess who founded IB and she does rule our hearts (Yes, the husband comes a close second)! I am a stationery magnet and she sent me stationery gifts. Now, she can read our minds, can't she? So, why gifts you ask? Well, we are playing The Bucket List throughout 2014 and this was a part of it. Also, I received a lovely handwritten card from her. A card that made me feel positive instantly, and also, it had a magic silver shoe charm and a reminder that I look better with a smile on my face. Thanks G, you are the best! I can't find words to describe how happy you made me G. I owe you.

Coming to think of it, IB makes my H4 life in US much better! Girls, have I told you before? I love you!

P.S. Oh! Before I forget about the secret mission I have been working on, here is a glimpse of the same. Tada...a food blog here at Pooja's Café. Do visit and try out my recipes! If you do try and it does come out tasty, do remember to tell me. If they don't turn out tasty, make sure to tell me.
